For your own protection, always keep a backup of your Skype contacts

Why should you do this?

Because your Skype account might be stolen. Maybe you think that this would never happen to you. We bet every model thing this way, even the ones who had this unpleasant surprise. And it’s better to be safe than sorry, especially since backing up your contact list is not rocket science.

Here’s what you need to do

1. Go to your Skype Window -> Contacts -> Advanced -> Backup Contacts to File

2. Save all your contacts to your computer.

That’s it. After these easy steps, you will have all your contacts to your computer, so you will be able to use them even after some bag guy (or girl) steals your Skype password. Don’t forget to periodically backup this list.

How to import the contacts back to your Skype account

If, for some reason, you have to create a new Skype account, you can load all your old contacts to the new account.

Go to your Skype Window -> Contacts -> Advanced -> Restore Contacts from File (and choose the file from your computer).

If you are using SkyPrivate and have to create a new Skype account, don’t forget to contact us! We will change your old account (the one who got stolen) with your new one, so no information from SkyPrivate system get lost.

We already did that with some of the models and they were excited about our work.
